About Sobriety House

Sobriety House Inc. is a private substance abuse treatment program based on the 12 Step model. They're located in Denver, Colorado. They serve adults, with priority given to pregnant women or women with dependent children, those who inject drugs, and veterans. They offer residential and outpatient programs, as well as sober living programs.

One of the things that makes Sobriety House unique is that they have two separate residential programs. One is a traditional intensive treatment program with all the structure and restrictions you'd expect. The other is a transitional treatment program that offers additional support as you prepare to return to fully independent living. Both have a focus on peer support meetings.

I also like their sober living program. Specifically, I like that it gives you a private apartment. You may find it more comfortable than the communal living spaces programs like this usually offer.

They accept Medicaid and private pay with a sliding fee scale.
