About Skagit Community Detox Center
The Skagit Community Detox center of Pioneer Human Services offers sub acute detoxification services for adults in Burlington, Washington. The organization is a nonprofit that receives funding from Skagit County Public Health. You must be 18 years of age or older as well as a resident of the North Sound region to receive services at this center.
Their sub acute detoxification services is a 16 bed program. Services are for residents who are experiencing a crisis that is related to their substance use disorder. The adults that come in for services are either intoxicated or are in withdrawal from a chemical substance abuse but are medically stable.
What stands out the most about this facility is that their services are available seven days a week and 24 hours a day. The staff will ensure your safety during your withdrawal from drugs and/or alcohol.
An assessment will be completed, and you will be given any needed referrals. Once you have completed the detox program, the staff will assist you in ensuring your aftercare is arranged. They also have a seven day Suboxone tapering program that the staff can coordinate for you.
Program referrals are accepted. You can either self refer or have a referral from a hospital emergency department, law enforcement or from your loved ones. Your application can be accepted over the phone, in person or by a provider.
