Allwell Behavioral Health Services serves six counties in Southeast Ohio, providing mental health and substance use treatment. In Morgan County, you’ll find one of their outpatient clinics in McConnelsville. This clinic has crisis support, medication assisted treatment (MAT), re entry services and school based counseling.

The clinic accepts Medicaid and Medicare coverage and has reduced fees for those without insurance. They may take private health plans, but you’ll have to ask to make sure.

They use case management, treatment services and other resources to make the transition smoother, which lowers the chances of reoffense. Allwell’s team creates a reentry plan that includes housing, treatment, training or education, job readiness and social integration.

I love that they address all of these needs, because returning to the community after a time in jail can be very isolating. It can be easier to go back to old friends and habits if you don’t have the support you need in the community.

Addiction can make you feel very alone even when you’re surrounded by others. Peer support can help by pairing you with someone who has been through what your facing and made it out the other side healthy and happy.

Peers provide encouragement and connect you to relevant services, like recovery support groups and other community resources.
