About Serenity Light Recovery Center

Serenity Light Recovery Center is an adult substance abuse treatment program with co-occurring disorder care. The main campus is in Angleton, Texas. This facility has levels of care for each step of your treatment. What's special about their approach is that they encourage you to customize your care plan. Of these treatment options, I find the SCARS trigger awareness program the most interesting. The subject of your triggers inevitably comes up during therapy, but SCARS is a program dedicated solely to exploring and better understanding your triggers. It's about promoting self awareness so you can recognize when to use the skills you learned in treatment.
