About Santa Maria Hostel Bonita House

Santa Maria Hostel is a multi-site addiction recovery center in Houston, Texas. They offer both residential, detox and outpatient substance use disorder treatments for women. Their Bonita House program is a residential program that lasts 30 days. It’s for women who don't require longer treatment but still require structure to help them in their healing journey. This and other programs at Santa Maria hostel are funded by government, churches, and community support and donations. Women who participate don’t pay for services.

You'll participate in at least 10 hours of group sessions every week that will focus on relapse prevention, life skills, parenting and drug education and refusal. This program is open to those with co-occurring psychiatric illness. I like that this program allows residents to find jobs or housing while living in a safe and sober environment.

Santa Maria Hostel offers many services like fitness and nutrition classes, parenting coaching, childcare and after school care for your children while you are in treatment, peer recovery groups and coaches, case management and housing assistance and trauma-focused groups among many others.
