About Santa Barbara Rescue Mission
Located in southern California, Santa Barbara Rescue Mission – Bethel House is a faith centered residential addiction treatment program for adult women. Offering a residential drug and alcohol rehab, mental health treatment, peer support, and aftercare services and referrals.
Santa Barbara Rescue Mission has been providing substance use disorder treatment services since 1965. As a Christian ministry, they aspire to provide physical, emotional, educational, and spiritual services to adults who experience homelessness and substance use disorders. – Centrally located in downtown Santa Barbara, Bethel House is a 39 bed, residential program for women. The 12 month program is faith centered and 12 step focused and promotes a social model of recovery. Bethel House provides a safe environment to help women overcome addiction and sustain recovery. Their program includes individual and group counseling, relationship support, and pastoral care. Amenities include a comfortable home like environment, central location, cozy garden patio, and peer support. Graduates may be referred to transitional living and other social services.
As a nonprofit organization, Santa Barbara Rescue Mission – Bethel House is licensed by the California Department of Healthcare Services. They accept Medicaid, private pay, and commercial insurance. Payment assistance and a sliding scale may also be available.
