About San Diego Rescue Mission
Located in San Diego, California, San Diego Rescue Mission Men’s Center is a non-profit homeless shelter and recovery center. They offer a 12-month residential alcohol and drug rehab treatment program for single dads and men.
The treatment program is a combination of Bible study, chapel services, counseling, vocational training, anger management, psychoeducation, legal assistance, healthcare referrals, and parenting skill development. Residents move through three semesters of treatment. The first semester focuses on wellness, with medical and dental evaluations as well as integrated therapy sessions. The second semester focuses on education and training, certifications, and personal goals. The third semester is when residents secure sustainable housing and employment.
