About Clitheroe Center- The Salvation Army

Just a few blocks north of the University of Alaska in the Tikishla Park area of Anchorage, Alaska, the Salvation Army Clitheroe Center Outpatient Office is an outpatient facility offering alcohol and substance abuse treatment. The Clitheroe Outpatient Center provides evidence-based curriculums and strengths-based programming to meet the unique needs of each person. Individualized treatment seeks to identify the underlying core issues, often related to trauma, that trigger alcohol or drug use. Therapies offered at the Clitheroe Center Outpatient Office include individual and group counseling, addiction and relapse prevention education, 12-step peer support group programming, and trauma-related therapy as needed.

Pre-admission assessment and interim treatment, as well as post-residential aftercare are available services at the Salvation Army Clitheroe Center outpatient facility. The Salvation Army Clitheroe Center is state certified and nationally accredited. They partner with The Alaska Office of Substance Misuse and Addiction Prevention.
