About Saint Patrick Center
Located in St. Louis, MO, Saint Patrick Center, is a non-profit drug and alcohol rehab serving the local community and veteran population. They connect homeless people, or people at risk of becoming homeless with housing and other wraparound services like addiction treatment and employment opportunities. Saint Patrick operates a special program for veterans called the Supportive Services for Veteran Families program. They are one of the nine families of ministries of Catholic Charities of St. Louis, sharing in their same mission, vision and values.
Housing First is an evidence-based practice that provides a solution for homelessness through permanent housing and other support resources. This program provides support services like jobs and skills training, employment placement, and behavioral health programs for mental illness and substance abuse. A three-day Job Readiness Training program is offered monthly and teaches job skills, resume writing, and mock interviews.
