In terms of what to expect from IOP, this is a group-based program that consists of 3-hour sessions, three days per week. Morning and evening sessions are available for flexibility, meaning individuals working or studying full-time alongside recovery can also commit themselves to this program.
Groups cover a variety of topics, with some being specialized addiction treatment groups to support individuals struggling with substance misuse. Others cover mental health issues, coping skills, or related topics in an educational, supportive environment. Clients in IOP will also be assigned a one-to-one clinician for individual therapy sessions.
The center also provides a specialized IOP for individuals struggling with concurrent mental health and substance abuse issues. Part of this also involves psychiatric and medication monitoring.
Standard outpatient is also available, with participants meeting just twice per week. One session each for group and individual counseling. Options for individuals with co-occurring conditions and mental health issues are also available.
