About CrossOver Recovery Center
Substance Abuse Center of Kansas (SACK) operates the CrossOver Recovery Center in Hutchinson, Kansas. This is a space where folks in recovery can be around others who are also in recovery and feel safe. People come to meet with their peer mentors or to attend various support groups. They also offer outpatient treatment options.
This CrossOver location offers two levels of treatment options. Level 1.0 meets twice a week in a group setting. You’ll get to learn about substance addiction and how it works. You’ll also learn relapse prevention tips and healthy coping habits. Whenever you need it, you can book private one on one therapy sessions with a licensed counselor. This program runs for 12 to 24 weeks.
Level 2.1 is an intensive level of care that meets three or four times a week. You’ll get the same educational and peer support sessions as in Level 1.0. The only difference is that this level meets more regularly. This is often a good fit for people who have just finished an inpatient treatment program or who need more regular support. Again, you can book individual counseling sessions when you need one.
These groups are offered during the morning or in the evening so you can choose what works best for your schedule. The best thing about outpatient treatment is that you are able to continue living your regular life. You can work, study, raise a family and still prioritize your substance use recovery.
You can call for an intake appointment to get started. During that interview, a counselor will get information from you and suggest a level of treatment based on your needs. They’ll schedule a group orientation where you can meet the group and see how it works. They take rolling admissions so you can join at any point.
