The day treatment, also known as partial hospitalization program, is typically for individuals who are stepping down from residential treatment or are unable to attend a residential program. You’ll be able to stay overnight in your home while attending group sessions during the day. You’ll be required to attend group therapy 20-24 hours per week for four to five hours a day. You’ll attend for several weeks, but it all depends on your specific needs.

I like that the intensive outpatient has the option for in person and virtual group counseling. You will be required to attend counseling nine hours per week for eight to ten weeks. It will then reduce to attending sessions for five hours per week for four weeks.
