About Rockdale House for Men

Located in Conyers, Georgia, Rockdale House for Men is a residential substance abuse treatment center. The program lasts at least six months and some guests may stay for one year, depending on individual needs.

You can expect 24/7 care in a structured setting. The schedule is regimented to help get you and the other guys get accustomed to the routine. For the first thirty days of treatment, you’ll have no outside contact, meaning no phone, visitors, or mail. Afterward, you can have visitors and two phone calls per day.

The program includes attending 12 Step meetings, group therapy, and daily chores to complete. You’ll also participate in anger management classes, life skills groups, and substance education seminars. Once your daily activities are finished, you may watch television, read, spend time with the therapy dog, or journal.

They don’t offer detox, and you must pass a drug and alcohol screening before admittance into the program. Completing the program requires having stable employment and a sober place to live. Their goal is to keep you engaged in lifelong recovery.
