About Rock Springs
Rock Springs is a mental health and addiction treatment facility with a location in Georgetown, Texas. They offer inpatient and outpatient services to help you overcome substance use disorder (SUD). Insurance is accepted whether it is in-network or out-of-network.
What immediately stood out to me is that they are open seven days a week, 24 hours a day. You will begin with an assessment. It will be conducted by either one of their counselors or social workers. Once the assessment is complete, the treatment team will work with you to determine the best level of care for you.
Their detox and inpatient treatment go hand in hand. Detox is part of treatment when in the inpatient residential program. Therapy services will also be included.
Your detox will be fully supervised to ensure your safety and minimize discomfort. Throughout the detox process, you will also be provided with therapeutic programming.
Medically assisted detox may also be an option. To receive medication during detox will depend on your withdrawal symptoms and the substance you are withdrawing from. During detox, you will still attend support groups, therapy, activities, family meetings and educational programs.
Once you complete the inpatient program, your therapist will go over your discharge plan. I like that your discharge plan may include an outpatient program. The outpatient program offers different levels of care and will help you transition back to everyday life.
The outpatient programs they offer are the partial hospitalization program (PHP) and the intensive outpatient program (IOP). They both include wellness education, individual counseling and group therapy as well as behavioral and holistic therapies.
The difference between these two outpatient programs is the time that they require. For the PHP, you’ll attend your sessions five days per week for 12 hours per day. The IOP requires three to five days per week for three hours per day.
The organization is LegitScript certified and accredited by The Joint Commission.
