River Ridge Treatment Center can be found in a quiet corner of Texarkana, Arkansas. It’s now part of the Southwest Arkansas Counseling and Mental Health Center network of providers. They provide counseling and mental health services to address behavioral health conditions that may be negatively impacting their lives.

SWACMHC offers counseling and residential care to those with substance use disorders. The Texarkana location has an onsite pharmacy that can also attend to side effects of drug abuse, such as self-harm, open wounds, or other physical ailments.

They’ve offered mental health services to the Southwest region of Arkansas for over 40 years and will not turn any clients away for service if they are experiencing an inability to pay. I love that they also offer sliding fee scales to assist those in need and will review your family size and income.

In addition, SWACMHC provides alcohol safety and court-ordered programs for those who’ve been convicted of a DUI/DWI offense. They provide required classes and counseling and will coordinate your participation in and completion of the program on your behalf.
