The facility is located on Kirman Avenue in Reno, Nevada. They offer a wide range of mental health services including treatment for substance use and co-occurring disorders. The facility accepts most commercial insurance plans. They don’t accept Medicare Advantage.

The counseling at this facility is for all ages. They offer counseling by licensed professionals for individuals, couples, and families. They use a holistic approach through several types of therapy. The main therapies include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychotherapy eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).

The addiction program is overseen by a physician board certified in Family and Addiction Medicine. They offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT) with buprenorphine for opioid use disorder. They also have medication management specifically targeted toward substance use and alcohol use disorder. They offer supportive services for addiction treatment that include group therapy, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs (IOP).

The IOP is for adults and is trauma-based for first responders and those who have a personal history of abuse or trauma. They emphasize that trauma comes from all sorts of experiences, not just violence, abuse, or first responder experiences. The program also helps those with substance use disorder. The IOP is three days a week for three hours each day. The program is five weeks and has about 15 sessions.

A unique service offered through this center is transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) for major depressive disorder. This is a non-invasive treatment. Magnetic fields are used to stimulate the brain’s nerve cells in targeted areas. The treatment typically takes place over seven weeks. Sessions are about 18 to 30 minutes, five days per week. You’ll be comfortable and awake during treatment.

The treatment center is inclusive and welcoming to everyone, including LGBTQIA+. They practice non-discrimination due to any reason including, but not limited to socioeconomic status, race, religion, age, veteran status or sexual orientation.
