The Capstone Treatment Center of Capstone Wellness is located in Judsonia, Arizona. The organization is accredited by CARF and certified by LegitScript.

The center provides male residential treatment. Teen boys between the ages of 14-17 and young men between the ages of 18-26 are able to receive treatment.

Being family owned, the program was built on clinical and faith excellence. They use a Christ centered approach. What I like is that they accept you where you are in your beliefs. You can be anywhere between atheism or a devout Christianity.

During your time in the program, you will develop life skills. Some of those skills will include financial planning, cooking and career preparation. You will also have round the clock supervision during your time in the program. I do think it's great that they have a 2:1 client to therapist ratio.

Your family will be informed and involved when it comes to your treatment. They believe that family is always part of the solution. On Sundays, they have spiritual groups. During that time, they do incorporate Chistian principles into your lesson.

There’s also a robust outdoors program. You can partake in adventure therapy and exercise. That way, you can become fit and find better coping means besides drugs.

What stood out to me is that they have a puppy program. When you’re admitted, you will receive an AKC registered labrador puppy. This puppy will be yours during treatment and after graduation. The puppy will serve as your long time sober companion. They believe this puppy is an integral part of the therapeutic process. It will teach you responsibility, assist in relapse prevention and help be a companion during depressive episodes.
