About Alliance Wellness Center

The Alliance Wellness Center is located in Bloomington, Minnesota. It’s a locally owned drug and alcohol treatment center. They accept some insurance plans.

I like that they have experience delivering treatment to multiple cultures. Their licensed counselors are client focused and will help you develop a treatment plan that is catered to your specific needs.

You will first partake in their substance use assessment services. It is basically a comprehensive evaluation that helps address your unique needs. You will go over your patterns of use, cravings, triggers and any co-occurring issues.

The assessment and evaluation will help your care team understand the severity of your addiction and help them develop your treatment plan. Depending on the severity, your treatment plan may include either residential treatment, intensive outpatient treatment or outpatient counseling.

Their residential treatment program is for women only. They have an availability of eight beds. Aside from individual and group counseling, I like that you are able to receive medical support. They also provide family services, psychoeducation and holistic therapies. The typical length of stay is between 60-90 days.

Their intensive outpatient treatment is for both men and women. They have both a men’s and women’s program. This way they're able to cater to gender specific needs. You’ll be able to receive a full continuum of care from community service referrals to relapse prevention education,

I do like that they offer virtual sessions through the evening outpatient program. You’ll attend virtual sessions three days per week for two and a half hours per day. It is mostly centered around group therapy but individual counseling is included. The individual counseling portion will be tailored to your specific needs.

They do offer recovery peer support. Your peers are able to help you in searching for a job. They are also able to guide you in finding safe housing, help you create a budget and can even help you in setting and achieving personal goals.
