About Recovery Unplugged Austin Rehab Center
Recovery Unplugged has a unique approach to addiction recovery. They harness the healing power of music and combine it with proven therapy methods. They have multiple locations across the country with a residential program in Austin, Texas. Amazingly, their success rate is four times higher than the national average. At Recovery Unplugged, you can get a full treatment process from detox and inpatient care to intensive outpatient and transitional living programs. You don't need to play an instrument to take part in these programs but you do need to love music. They work with many insurance providers including United healthcare, Humana, and Blue Cross Blue Shield.
The Austin facility is located on the rural outskirts of Eastern Austin. You'll be away from the noise of the city so you can focus on your recovery. Private chefs whip up delicious meals from on-site garden produce. You'll have time to hang around the fire pit by the barn and make s'mores. You can enjoy live music as you swing on hammocks or get your heart rate up with frisbee golf or football. Of course, there are also fully equipped music studios on site. This campus is designed to help you heal mentally, emotionally, spiritually and physically. I like that they limit their residents to 24 people at a time so that everyone gets individualized attention.
If you need detox, they provide expert medical care as you go through withdrawal. As you step into the residential portion of the program you'll begin to address the root causes of your substance use and also develop healthy coping strategies for long-term recovery. All of this will be assisted with music.
The intensive outpatient program lets you get the best of the program benefits while still living at home. You'll be able to keep your job and relationships while still making your recovery a high priority. Their IOP programs are covered by all major insurance plans.
Recovery unplugged also offers a virtual program for substance use and mental illness. Group sessions run on evenings and weekends, led by a trained counselor. Sessions will incorporate the healing power of music and can also include medical management. Family and individual sessions are also available.
