Recovery Unplugged uses a music-assisted alcohol and drug rehab model to offer a full continuum of care for alcohol and drug addiction recovery. Located in Fort Lauderdale, FL, Recovery Unplugged integrates music into every aspect of their evidence-based addiction treatment.
Music-assisted treatment programs include partial hospitalization programs (PHPs) offering six hours of programming per day, intensive outpatient programs (IOPs) offering three hours of programming per day, medication assisted treatment, and dual diagnosis programs. In each program, music is used to influence engagement, mood, and energy during treatment. Methods include Personalized Playlists, Morning Pump-Up, Writing, Recording and Production, and Performances from Artists in Recovery. Clients do not need a background in music to participate.
