About Recovery Connection

Recovery Connection in Springfield, Massachusetts is now closed. This was a whole-person, outpatient treatment center with remote treatment options that fit your life. With a 735-acre city park and cafes nearby, you had everything you need to confidently move through your path to recovery.

Outpatient Medically-Assisted Detox

In addition to traditionally available counseling methods, I appreciate that Recovery Connection offered a comprehensive, outpatient medically-assisted detox program.

Effective for both opioid and alcohol substance use disorders, this outpatient program used methadone, buprenorphine, naltrexone, and clonidine to ease withdrawal symptoms. They offered traditional cognitive behavioral therapy and contingency management, too.

Telemedicine and Telehealth Services

If you couldn’t make your outpatient appointments, Recovery Connection also offered telehealth and telemedicine treatment. Their telehealth services ensured you’d receive access to your therapy sessions, even if you couldn’t be physically present for them.

I like that their telemedicine services also included regular follow-ups, medication management, and appointments with your healthcare providers. This ensured you still got the best care, even if you had a busy schedule or needed to fit your appointments around childcare.

Many Payment Options for Comprehensive Care

In addition to their broad scope of treatment options, I find it helpful that they also offered many ways to pay for your care. They accepted Medicaid, Medicare, TRICARE for active-duty service members and veterans, self-pay, private medical insurance, and other forms of state-sponsored healthcare coverage.

They were also CARF-accredited which ensured you and your loved one received safe, effective, professional, and scientifically up-to-date care.

Rest and Recharge at Cafes, Restaurants, and Parks in Springfield

If you needed some time out in nature, Forest Park offers 735 acres of walking trails, lakes, picnic areas, and a petting zoo to soothe your soul. Both Nosh Restaurant and Cafe and Cafe D'Jolie were great options for quick, healthy coffee breaks or lunches in Springfield.

If you or a loved one were looking for an outpatient treatment center in the Springfield area that offered a comprehensive suite of medically-assisted and counseling services, then Recovery Connection might have been a good option to check out. Offering both telehealth and telemedicine options, you'd receive excellent care, no matter where you were.

The first step to a drug-free future is detox. This involves slowly and safely ridding your body of all addictive substances, under 24/7 supervision. This is typically the initial phase of drug rehab in Massachusetts.

Sober Living

In Massachusetts sober living, you will take on more responsibility than rehab treatment requires. You’ll pay rent and work or attend school. You’ll also contribute to household chores. The goal is to learn how to live independently, free from drugs and alcohol.
