About Recovery Center

The Recovery Center is a 10 bed detox facility in Lansing, Michigan. They're publicly funded and accept payment plans but you won't be turned away if you can't pay. You’ll get around the clock supervision for three to five days as your body purges itself of drugs or alcohol. You're also eligible if you have a co occurring mental health condition.

I like that The Recovery Center is an accessible, barrier free facility. You’ll be kept as comfortable as possible while you undergo withdrawal. You must be able to take care of all your personal needs to be eligible. Certain medical conditions may make you ineligible for treatment.

Many previous clients say that they had positive experiences at The Recovery Center. Most said that staff and food were excellent. After detox, the staff will connect you with other providers to continue your recovery. They encourage any recovery path that suits your needs. This may include medication assisted treatment or 12 step programs.
