About Rappahannock Area Community Services Board

The Mental Health Crisis Stabilization Program at The Sunshine Lady House for Mental Health Wellness & Recovery is in Fredericksburg, Virginia. This clinic is one of several outpatient sites that are part of the Hope Starter Program.

They offer various programs to help you recover from substance use disorders. This includes medication assisted treatment, support groups, counseling and much more. Rappahannock Area Community Service Board accepts many insurance plans. During your first visit, you’ll have a financial interview to go over fees and payment options.

One of the programs is called project link. This program is for pregnant and parenting women as well as those who are in childbearing years and are struggling with addiction and co-occurring disorders. You'll get a full assessment including your physical health, individual and group counseling, care coordination and more. you'll be connected with family support systems and get referrals to Community Services.

Their crisis stabilization program gives up to 12 guests up to 15 days of around-the-clock supervision and a variety of services that can help them improve their mental wellness. You’ll get individual and group sessions, therapeutic arts, and acupuncture. Office based opioid treatment is sometimes called medication assisted treatment. This combines therapy with medication to combat opioid addiction. These FDA approved medications help the brain return to normal and are one of the most effective treatments for opioid use.
