About Rappahannock Area Community
Rappahannock Area Community Services Board - Caroline County Clinic provides outpatient services to residents of Ruther Glen, Virginia, and surrounding areas. They offer outpatient addiction programs and mental health counseling as well as services for the justice involved.
The clinic doesn’t turn anyone away because they can’t pay. They try to keep fees as affordable as possible, and they accept some insurance plans as well. Court ordered services generally need to be paid out of pocket.
Targeted Services for Women
The LINK program provides a variety of services to pregnant, parenting and childbearing age women in the counties covered by the Services Board. They connect women with substance use treatment, mental health programs and crisis services.
Project LINK has parenting programs for those in addiction treatment and recovery, referrals for housing and employment support, educational classes on infant care, and bus tokens for transportation. I like that they also meet with women directly and monitor progress to ensure everyone is getting the support they need.
