About Quality Behavioral Health
Quality Behavioral Health (QBH) has provided addiction recovery services throughout Michigan since 1995. At this location on East Grand Boulevard in Detroit, they offer withdrawal management, residential treatment and recovery housing. Specialty programs are available for people who are involved with the state’s Department of Corrections.
Most people take around three to five days to withdraw from drugs or alcohol through their program. Your care team may administer FDA-approved medications to keep you as comfortable as possible during this stage. Once that part is over, you’ll transition into their residential care.
Since its inception 28 years ago, QBH has helped more than 52,000 individuals go through the withdrawal management and residential stages of recovery. Over the decades, it’s cemented its place as one of the city’s top treatment facilities. While Detroit might be known for automobiles and Motown music, its rich cultural and artistic background also makes it a fascinating place to put down roots as you begin your recovery.
Something neat about this facility is that they offer different residency plans based on your needs. Some people will enter the 30-day short-term program while others may stay up to 90 days or longer. Your team will check your progress every 30 days to monitor where you’re at in your recovery journey.
While you’re living on site, you’ll have lots of different treatment options at your fingertips. Some of the programs include educational courses, therapy sessions and medicinal support as required. They’ll also connect you to local 12-step groups like Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and Narcotics Anonymous (NA). Recovery housing is available nearby, so you can enjoy everything Motor City has to offer, from the Henry Ford Museum to a Detroit Tigers baseball game, as you ease into your new life of sobriety.
