About Promises Five Palms
Promises Five Palms is accredited by The Joint Commission and is drug and alcohol rehab located in Ormond Beach, Florida. They offer treatment to men, women, and veterans who are struggling with dual diagnosis and substance abuse disorders. The levels of care offered here are inpatient (IP), partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP) and traditional outpatient (OP) treatment. They provide holistic therapy, family programs, trauma care, and alumni support.
They accept credit/debit car payments and work with a multitude of providers. For more information regarding insurance, reach out to their intake specialists who can better assist.
What I like the most about their rehab is their gender specific approach. It can be challenging and nerve wracking to engage with others and during group therapy having the fear of judgment and vulnerability. By working with other men and/or other women, you can be encouraged to interact with others and feel comfortable in treatment. Everyone has different lived experiences and challenges. This is a more mindful approach and allows you to discuss curtain challenges that only others of the same gender can identify with.
Cognitive (CBT) and dialectical behavioral therapies (DBT) are some of the many holistic therapies they incorporate throughout the duration of treatment. Individual counseling creates a more private and secure atmosphere where you can discuss your feelings, your treatment plan, difficulties you may be having, and goals you have for yourself. These forms of treatment help you manage your emotions and help you regulate your mood creating more self resilience and independence.
This can help improve brain function by letting go of old beliefs and behaviors that altered your way of living the life you always wanted. You’ll be encouraged to move forward in your recovery, continue being active in your healing process, focusing on the positive, and gaining hope for what lies ahead.

Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) is an integrative, community-based care strategy designed to address the needs of persons with severe and/or complex mental illness or behavioral disorders.
