About Project Transition

Project Transition Warminster is a residential drug and alcohol treatment program located in Warminster, Pennsylvania. They treat adults who have substance use disorder (SUD) and alcohol use disorder (AUD). They accept Medicare and private insurance, and they also accept self-pay.

The Admissions Process

Some insurance carriers may require a referral for entry. You will have a pre-admission tour of the facility as well as an assessment. You must also take a drug test and take a screening for suicidal ideation and self-harm.

The Program

Residents in the program will stay in regular apartment buildings that are adjacent to treatment facilities. All participants have one or two roommates. The therapists who run the program believe that the living arrangement will give you a sense of normalcy and reality.

You will take part in group and individual therapy. They also require participation in life skills and vocational training. Residents may also participate in community 12 Step meetings. You will have access to a 24-hour-a-day crisis team.

I like that they also teach wellness classes. It has been my observation that eating healthy and exercising are critical to maintaining sobriety.
