PARC/Riverside

PARC/Riverside is located on Kanawha Street in Saint Albans, West Virginia. They provide detoxification services and inpatient drug and alcohol rehabilitation services for those struggling with addiction and offer both long and short term residential treatment programs.

This center offers withdrawal management along with short-term and long-term residential services. You can also participate in medication-assisted treatment (MAT), psychiatric services, outpatient programs, individual and group therapy, case management and coaching through aftercare programs. 

Specialized Services and DUI Safety Treatment Program

What I find unique about their programs is the specialized services. TRUST is one of their program that treats addictions to stimulants. They also have a crisis stabilization unit (CSU) for detoxification. Other specialized programs include their SAMHSA workforce support group, their men and women’s transitional living and residential treatment program and their DUI safety treatment program. 

Outpatient Services Through Individual and Group Counseling

Their outpatient services include therapy and counseling in a group or individual setting. They can also provide non-emergency medical transportation, money management assistance, and connection to a community engagement specialist (CES) as well as an onsite laboratory for screening and testing. 

Services are provided to those who are 18 and older. Following your initial assessment at PARC/Riverside, you are then treated for any immediate medical needs you may have and prepared for therapy and medication management during your outpatient treatment program for recovery.
