The Charleston location provides inpatient and outpatient programs for people with substance use disorders and severe, persistent mental illness. The programs include a comprehensive assessment, individualized treatment plan, medically managed detox when necessary, 12 step recovery support, counseling, recovery coaching, addiction management, relapse prevention, family counseling, safe transitioning support, and DUI Safety and Treatment program. Treatments are flexible depending on the individual's needs but may last 30 days, six months, or nine months. There is also extended care for longer than a year available.

Prestera Center is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) reflecting their high standards of behavioral and addiction healthcare. They accept Medicaid and self pay and offer financial aid.
