PMS Socorro Mental Health is a dual diagnosis addiction treatment center for adults (18+) and adolescents (13-17). Located in West Socorro, New Mexico, drug rehab services include outpatient treatment, intensive outpatient program (IOP), medication assisted treatment (MAT), therapeutic services, family support services, and aftercare. Using a psychosocial rehabilitation model, PMS Socorro Mental Health can effectively treat substance use and mental health disorders at the same time. This model incorporates evidence based interventions, therapy, and skill building to promote healthy community living. Treatment includes a comprehensive assessment and customized treatment plan, individual and group therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), family education and counseling, medication assisted treatment (MAT), Assertive Community Treatment (ACT), and relapse prevention training. The MAT program incorporates medication and behavioral counseling to overcome opioid use disorders. MAT is an effective treatment that is endorsed by the National Institute on Drug Abuse as the gold standard of treatment for opioid addiction.
