About Places for People
Places for People provides health and healing to residents of St Louis, Missouri. They help people recover from mental illness and substance use disorders. They accept insurance but also offer funding including a sliding scale and grants if treatment is too expensive for you. You won't be denied access even if you can’t pay.
They provide outpatient counseling to treat many concerns such as trauma and anxiety, substance use, depression and much more. All the therapists are licensed in their fields and have many years of experience. Your treatment plan will be co-created between you and your therapist. Treatment will always be trauma informed and caring.
