About Phoenix House Mens Residential Center

The Phoenix Program of National Capital Treatment & Recovery is a substance abuse treatment program for men in Arlington, Virginia. They provide intensive inpatient treatment and medication assisted treatment, as well as aftercare. This program is rooted in the 12 Steps philosophy and takes a trauma informed approach to personalized care.

An intensive inpatient program is a high level of care you may find ideal if you're experiencing extreme symptoms, or if you've completed treatment in the past but relapsed. In this program, you'll reside at the Phoenix Program campus for the duration of treatment with others in recovery. You'll receive individual and group counseling. Other components include psychoeducational programs, daily exercise, and more. They use a variety of evidence backed methods to explore the links between trauma and addiction.

The program offers 24/7 care, which I like. Knowing that support is always available can take some of the stress out of treatment. They can also link you to community resources for ongoing support post treatment.
