About Persad Center Pittsburgh

Persad Center has locations in Pittsburgh and Washington, Pennsylvania. They’re a human service organization that supports and improves the lives of the LGBTQ+ community and their loved ones. They offer outreach, prevention, training and counseling services. They are the first provider of LBGTQ+, dual-diagnosis intensive outpatient programs in the Greater Pittsburgh area.

When you sign up, you’ll see that their specialists are competent in LGBTQ+ cultures as well as addiction. Their therapists help clients change their addictive patterns so they can live full lives as a LBGTQ+ person without drugs. You can choose from intensive or general outpatient treatment depending on how much structure and support you need.

During treatment, you’ll get education, counseling in individual, family and/or couples sessions. Their therapists can help you with psychiatric issues in addition to chemical dependency. Priority is given to high risk individuals including pregnant substance users and injection drug users.
