About Penfield Addiction Ministries

Green Acres Wellness provides holistic substance abuse recovery in Alapaha, Georgia. They offer medical detox, residential and medication-assisted services. They treat clients with a dual diagnosis, too. They're beautiful campus is situated on nine acres where you'll find healing in the natural beauty of the Georgia Plains. They offer all kinds of unique and fulfilling types of therapy so that you can connect with animals as part of your recovery. There are also beautiful outdoor hikes and space for pickleball jogging and other recreational activities. You can also enjoy the full on-site gym.

Their residential program serves a maximum of 20 clients at a time. You’ll focus on healing your body, mind and spirit through holistic tools like yoga and art therapy. But you’ll also join in on proven treatments including individual and group therapy. In these sessions, you’ll identify your negative thinking patterns and triggers and learn how to become resilient.

Green Acres Wellness understands that addiction is a chronic disease. That's why they offer ongoing support through their Aftercare program. Once you complete your treatment, you'll continue to get the resources and guidance you need to succeed in your continued recovery.
