About Pathways to Life Norfolk

Located in Norfolk Virginia, Pathways to Life Norfolk offered a comprehensive range of addiction treatment services to help you on your journey to recovery. They have since closed this Norfolk location, but the organization does still have locations in the region including in Charlotte, Durham, Greensboro and more.

A Range of Available Treatment Services

The center offered alcohol and drug rehab including dual diagnosis treatment. They had adult and young adult programs in their outpatient rehab as well as aftercare support.

I think it's great that the center offered a variety of therapies, including cognitive behavioral therapy, family therapy, group therapy and individual therapy. They knew how to provide you with the tools and resources you needed to overcome addiction and build a foundation to reach your goals.

An Accessible and Community Focused Center

Although the center was located in the suburbs of Norfolk, it was conveniently accessible on public transportation. I also really liked its proximity to different attractions such as the Virginia Beach Boardwalk, the Virginia Aquarium and Marine Science Center and the Cape Henry Lighthouse.

In addition to these local landmarks, I think their Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) was very helpful for patients as it allowed them to receive coordinated services for comprehensive psychiatric support that also connected them with local resources and other providers that could benefit their recovery.

Affordable Treatment With or Without Insurance

The center accepted various payment methods including many private insurance plans. They also accepted Medicaid and Medicare. For self pay clients they had a sliding fee scale so your cost was income based.
