About Pathways CBH Inc

Pathways CBH is in Marshall, Missouri, and is a substance use treatment center and sober living home. They accept Medicaid, Access to Recovery vouchers, and private health insurance.

Outpatient Substance Use Treatment

Outpatient substance use treatment is available at the center or is available via a computerized program. Clients can complete treatment at home by going through self guided modules and online therapy. Outpatient treatment is available for former residents who are trying to maintain recovery.

Sober Living and Halfway House

The primary function of the center is to offer sober living or halfway house residency based on client needs. If you’ve completed substance use treatment and cannot return home to a substance free environment, I think you can choose to reside in a sober living home that has in house therapy.

The center functions as a halfway house for those who have been referred from the courts or the judicial system. I saw that residents must abide by a curfew, do assigned chores, and attend therapy sessions.

The center accepts adults. Any resident diagnosed with co-occurring disorders will be treated for all disorders concurrently.

Therapies used for treatment include cognitive (CBT) and dialectical behavior (DBT), behavior modification, and telemedicine therapy. Trauma therapy is offered for those who have been through traumatic experiences.

Counseling takes place as individual psychotherapy and group therapy. Residents receive therapy through therapeutic activities.

We can sometimes find ourselves in crisis mentally when we’re working through issues or past traumas. The Fitzgibbon Hospital Behavioral Health Unit is 1.45 miles away from the center and can provide emergency care.
