About Pathways Inc.

Pathways’ CRRU East Outpatient Addiction Services is a substance use disorder and dual diagnosis treatment program located a short distance from the Ohio River in Ashland, Kentucky. Their evidence based programs extend beyond traditional treatment and include DUI and justice involved services as well as medication assisted treatment. They’re open every day of the week.

They proudly serve active military, veterans, and their families as well as the general public.

Pathways is dedicated to delivering a full range of services to the communities they serve. This includes preventive programs, crisis response and care, and general support outside of their treatment programs.

They take Medicaid and Medicare alongside private insurance plans. They also offer a sliding fee for those who can't afford treatment, so no one is turned away because they can't pay.

Tailored Maternal Care

The KY Moms Maternal Assistance Toward Recovery offers a combination of SUD education, prevention, and treatment services to new mothers and pregnant women. What I love about this program is that it provides help in and out of treatment, including case management, to people who are often afraid of admitting they have a problem. By removing barriers and fears associated with admitting to SUD, this program ensures mothers, mothers to be, and their children can overcome addiction and lead healthy lives.

Care for Victims of Trauma and Abuse

While everyone is welcome at this clinic, I want to draw special attention to the specialized care they provide to specific groups. One is survivors of trauma, abuse, and sexual abuse. Care services for these individuals incorporate their experiences into treatment and include developing coping skills to better address these and related problems.

These services can be integrated into addiction treatment for a more whole person approach to your recovery. It explores the links between traumatic experience and drug misuse so you can better understand your behaviors and begin working towards change in treatment.
