About PAAR East

Located in Porterville, California, PAAR East is a transitional home for clients who have completed drug and alcohol treatment programs at The PAAR Center. The PAAR Center is a comprehensive treatment center for substance use disorder offering inpatient and outpatient programs. As a sober living home, PAAR East provides a supportive environment for clients as they transition to independent living.

PAAR East creates a sober and structured home where residents can focus on work or school while still accessing the 12-step-based services at the PAAR Center. This includes peer support groups led by others in recovery, also known as the social model of addiction treatment. Clients also retain the support of other residents of the transitional home with access to recreational and fitness activities for long-term wellness.
