About PAAR Center The White House
PAAR Center’s The White House is a residential alcohol and drug rehab center for men in Porterville, California. The White House is part of the PAAR Center, a nonprofit facility that has been providing addiction recovery services since 1965. The inpatient program at The White House is based on a 12 Step curriculum using the social model, in which sessions are led by people in recovery who can share their own experiences and insights with clients.
The White Center is an 11-bed home that is an extension of The Main House, the primary residential program at the PAAR Center. The program lasts 90 days and consists of peer support group counseling as well as educational courses in anger management, problem-solving, medication awareness, and stress management.
Clients also receive domestic violence counseling and participate in family education and awareness programs. There’s also recreational and fitness activities for holistic recovery.
They’re licensed by the State of California Department of Alcohol and Drug Programs. The program may accept insurance plans from major insurance providers such as Anthem, TRICARE, Aetna, Kaiser Permanente, Beacon, and ComPsych. Coverage and out-of-network benefits vary so confirm your benefits with your insurance provider.
