About OHEL Childrens Home and Family Services Marvin Kaylie Tikvah Center

The community in Brooklyn, New York has a resource for addiction treatment and so much more in the OHEL Children’s Home and Family Services Marvin Kaylie Tikvah Center. They started as an organization providing foster care for Jewish families but they’ve expanded to offer substance use treatment and mental health care and so much more.

The addiction recovery and mental health treatment at the Marvin Kaylie Tikvah Center is outpatient and is available to adult men and women and to teens. The outpatient treatment can be helpful as a step down after residential rehab or as a treatment option for people who don’t need a more extensive level of care.

In the program here they use evidence based strategies to guide your recovery journey. You’ll have individual therapy and group therapy and they can offer medication management if necessary too. You can get treatment here either in person or via telehealth. Because addiction affects the entire family they also have family support services to help your loved ones learn about the recovery process and cope with the effects of addiction.

While some clients don’t have positive feedback many say that it’s a clean and supportive environment where they’ve been able to get the care they need.
