The program also includes weekly alumni speaking and multifamily group meetings. The goal is for you to maintain abstinence and develop healthier coping skills that prevent relapse. They also expect you to develop positive behavioral habits that enhance your sense of personal responsibility. Emphasis is on improving your quality of life or overall wellbeing. The length of stay is based on the ASAM patient placement criteria.
You can step down to their IOP upon graduation. This relatively structured but flexible program involves individual and group counseling alongside educational classes focusing on recovery skill building. You can expect about nine hours of group sessions weekly spread across three to four days. You’re also expected to actively participate in community self-help groups like AA and NA. The OP is an even less intensive program with less than nine hours of weekly sessions. Like the IOP, the focus is on building strong coping and independent living skills that foster lasting sobriety.
They may link you to community resources like housing, job placement and medical care. These resources can support your lasting recovery efforts. The facility also offers various services mandated by the court. These include private UA accounts, DUI assessment and deferred prosecution treatment for DUI.
