About Northwest Behavioral Clinic

Northwest Behavioral Clinic in Yakima, Washington, specializes in state-approved outpatient addiction treatment services. Support is available to adults aged 18 and older. Spanish speaking clients are also accepted here.

Unique Additions to an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for Substance Abuse

If you’re in need of greater support, the clinic’s IOP may be a good option for you. But it’s not a typical IOP. Along with individual and group counseling sessions you’ll have life skills training and other educational services, 12-step meetings, vocational support and relapse prevention.

Recreational and social activities are woven into the program too. You’ll also have access to primary and perinatal care as needed. Meanwhile, your family members and loved ones can also access support. Supportive services like parenting skills development, help with transport, and childcare are also offered. When you reach the end of the program, aftercare services are available.

State-Approved Outpatient Addiction Treatment in Washington

Standard outpatient programming features many of the same services as IOP, just with a lower time commitment. You may find yourself on the program for anywhere between six months to two years depending on your circumstances.

An eight hour DUI education course is also provided here, that fulfills legal requirements for clients seeking court-ordered care.
