The mobile crisis team is made up of peer support specialists, licensed clinicians, family advocates, and case managers. The crisis teams are deployed to assist adults, families, and children in emotional and behavioral crises. The mobile crisis team works with an integrated community crisis system to provide all necessary care.
Crisis care provides clinical assessment and intervention, family or peer advocacy, and follow up case management. The goal of crisis care is to prevent higher, more restrictive levels of care. In the case of imminent risk you’ll be connected to the nearest emergency room.
The home-based crisis intervention program is an intensive four to six weeks of in home treatment. During this time, therapists are on call 24 hours a day in order to help families manage crises and provide support. This program aims to fix relationships and empower children and their families to use problem solving skills. This is designed for families with kids aged five through 17.
Counseling sessions focus on parenting skills, finding peaceful solutions, and safety planning. For eligibility in this program, a child must be at risk for hospitalization or out-of-home placement.
