About NorthCare

NorthCare of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, specializes in mental health and substance use disorder care in intensive (IOP) and general outpatient (OP) settings. Their services are open to people of all ages. Additionally, they do not discriminate for any reason, including sexuality and gender identity. They have carefully developed a supportive environment so they can serve anyone who comes through their doors. Their levels of care also include medication assisted treatment.

You can pay for some or all of treatment with Medicaid or Medicare, and they also provide a sliding fee scale for those who are uninsured. You won't be turned away if you cannot afford services.

NorthCare follows a trauma informed care model that recognizes each individual reacts differently to treatment and trauma. This approach means your treatment plan is highly personalized to reflect your lived experience. Part of NorthCare's philosophy is to empower you during treatment, recognizing your strengths and achievements and setting manageable goals for recovery. Ultimately, this means that when you work with NorthCare staff, you won't receive a one size fits all approach.

There are several ways the outpatient programs at NorthCare go beyond typical expectations, but I want to highlight the one I think is most unique. They can provide financial assistance to cover the cost of meds. I think this is huge.If you've ever been on medication long term, you know that consistent use is key. But many people struggle to keep up with the costs and miss doses. Hopefully, NorthCare's assistance program can make managing this important aspect of recovery easier for you.

NorthCare is a nonprofit facility.
