Admission is through referral by the mental health authority in the service area and admissions are generally short term. If you require longer term treatment, you could be admitted to a specific program on their campus.

Forensic Admissions and Physician Assessment

Their admission department is open 24/7 and families are encouraged to take home any valuables that are not needed during hospitalization. Forensic admissions are mandated if a judge rules that you are incompetent to stand trial.

Physicians assess your needs on admission and every patient receives a dental screening and a review of their past medical history. The hospital is tobacco free, including snuff, chewing tobacco and vaping. Past clients have given mixed reviews. Some long term mental health individuals felt at home here but others had loved ones who had negative and distressing experiences at this facility.
