Services include individual and group counseling, cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavior therapy, trauma therapy and family therapy, medication management and consumer run peer support. The center also offers court ordered outpatient treatment and telepsychiatry services.

The center serves young adults, adults and seniors ages 65 and older who are living with serious mental illness and PTSD, eating disorders or co-occurring mental health and substance use challenges.
I think it's noteworthy that North River welcomes LGBTQ individuals and veterans, trauma survivors and the deaf and hard of hearing community with accessible sign language services. Multilingual services, including Spanish, are available to support the diverse Northwest side neighborhoods the center serves.

North River Mental Health Center is located on North Pulaski Road in the Peterson Park area on Chicago's Northwest side.
The center is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM and serves communities from Devon to Belmont and Cicero to the Chicago River.
What insurance is accepted?
The center accepts Medicaid, Medicare and private insurance including BCBS, Aetna and Humana, Cigna and United.
Through the Mental Health Equity Initiative, I appreciate that services are available to all Chicagoans regardless of ability to pay, immigration status or health insurance, with payment assistance and scholarships available.
