There’s even a vending machine for extra snacks. They also have hot New Orleans Roast Coffee and serve warm chocolate chip cookies with milk every night. They’re also LGBTQ+ friendly.

Their residential treatment and recovery program begins with a comprehensive assessment and personalized treatment planning. This is followed by medical detox and inpatient rehabilitation. Medical detox involves a carefully managed withdrawal procedure with 24/7 medical care and supervision by expert healthcare professionals.

Their detox procedure incorporates medication assisted treatment (MAT) and other therapeutic interventions to facilitate safe withdrawal. Medication assisted treatment combines FDA approved meds with counseling to support recovery. The facility offers injectables like Sublocade and Vivitrol alongside meds like Suboxone to curb cravings and minimize withdrawal symptoms. These ensure your detox experience is as comfortable as possible.

Medical detox is only geared towards removing addiction-related toxins from your body in preparation for the main therapy. After detox, you’ll generally continue your recovery journey via their inpatient program which involves intensive therapy with 24/7 monitoring by their clinical team. You’ll participate in individual and group therapy based on clinically proven models like cognitive (CBT) and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) that foster emotional regulation. The goal is to help you address underlying behavioral issues that influence your substance misuse.

Emphasis is on developing solid coping skills, preventing relapse and staying sober. You’ll learn stress management, effective communication, and problem solving skills that foster sober living. You’ll also participate in addiction education to better understand how it influences your health and the recovery pathways you can explore. Active participation in their various recreational and wellness activities is encouraged to enhance mental and physical wellbeing. You’re also encouraged to connect with your community of peers for shared support and encouragement during recovery.

Upon graduation, you can continue your recovery through their intensive outpatient program (IOP). They may also refer you to peer based groups like AA/NA or connect you to community resources that support your recovery. These may include safe and permanent housing, employment assistance and medical care.
