About Nextep

Nextep is an outpatient substance abuse treatment provider with additional sober recovery residences located in Fort Myers, FL and other surrounding communities. Outpatient services include levels of care that include standard outpatient programs, partial hospitalization programs (PHPs), and intensive outpatient programs (IOPs). These programs take a 12-step approach to treatment, combined with Nextep’s own Four Stage Self-Empowerment Process, which focuses on abstinence-only and evidence-based treatment methods.
Nextep sober living residences include 11 gender-specific sober homes located in the quiet residential areas of Fort Myers, Naples, and Cape Coral. Each home is located near employment opportunities, bus routes, and 12-step meetings. The sober living residences serve 63 men and 35 women.
Nextep is accredited by the Joint Commission and certified by FARR and the Florida Department of Children and Families.
