There’s also a substance abuse comprehensive treatment program as well. Women are supported through intensive outpatient programs.

With all levels of care, you'll have access to evidence-based therapies and recreational activities to treat the whole individual. You'll work with counselors and peers who’ll help you build critical skills for success. This organization accepts self pay. They can connect you to financing resources that can help make treatment more affordable.

Through their evidence-based approach, you'll work with addiction counselors on an individual or group basis. Some of the therapies you'll have access to include cognitive and dialectical behavioral therapy. With these treatments, you'll reflect on behaviors that have contributed to your struggles. Your care team will work to help you identify your triggers. Additionally, you'll learn tangible strategies that will help you manage your response to these triggers.

One of my favorite parts about this recovery program is the focus on you as an individual. While clinical care is offered, it's not always offered in a clinical setting. You'll feel dignified and respected in the treatment you receive. And most importantly, you'll build meaningful connections with counselors and peers here.

Another element I appreciate about them is their recreational therapies. This organization stands out because they're committed to helping you connect with what matters most in life, whatever that may be to you. One way they do this is through adventure therapy. You and your peers will explore the beautiful mountains of Asheville, North Carolina. You’ll connect with nature in a way that leaves you feeling empowered and motivated.

You'll also have access to yoga and meditation therapy. These therapies are essential for helping you reflect within. As you consider your choices and habits, you'll begin to identify the different avenues you can pursue in life. This is a great way to reflect on personal goals you want to set.
