About Next Step Community Solutions

Next Step Community Solutions is a nonprofit mental health treatment program in Tyler, Texas. They work with school administrators to provide on campus general outpatient services to teens and their families. Next Step Community Solutions is dedicated to eliminating barriers to behavioral health support.

In school counseling is a convenient way for teens to get help without disrupting their lives. This program makes scheduling appointments easier and eliminates the need for travel. In addition to accessibility, teens benefit from the privacy of one on one counseling. Care is provided by a Licensed Professional Counselor.

My favorite thing about this program is that it's free to students and parents. The cost of treatment becomes a deterrent all too often, and those who need services most can't afford them. This program recognizes the impact cost has on accessibility and removes that barrier. Hopefully, easier access means teens can develop a healthy relationship with behavioral health care that they can continue to develop into adulthood.
